Booking Your Headshots

There are a lot of options out there for you to choose from, so I’m delighted you’ve made it this far and are considering shooting your headshots with me. I’m also very aware that your cash is hard earned and your time very valuable which is why I take getting your headshots right very seriously.

Your headshot is a vital first introduction in the casting process. It can mean rejection or an invitation to the next step in an instant.

So you really need to be confident about two things.

Firstly, is your headshot is going to stand out in an ocean of headshots – will it have something just a little different in terms of character and quality? Will it make someone stop and take a second look?

Secondly, will it represent you, your personality and the roles you’re looking for?

So I might ask you to ‘smize’ or even ‘sqinch’ from time to time, but first and foremost I’m going to work with you to allow your individuality and character to shine through.

Which means my personal approach as photographer isn’t about working to a set style that I happen to like, or defaulting to a go to set up and pumping out headshot after headshot after headshot on a production line.

It’s about your goals and the images that you need to succeed.

And with over 30 years of experience in the creative industry including hundreds of casting calls and looking through thousands of headshots I really do understand the most important part of this whole process.

I’ve structured my headshot prices to be simple, realistic and affordable.

One Hour Session
Two Lighting Set Ups, Up to Two Outfits, 3 Fully Edited Images
£125 Still only £90

Two Hour Session
Three Lighting Set Ups, Up to Four Outfits, 5 Fully Edited Images
£210 Still only £180

Additional Edits
I personally retouch all of your selected images and if you’d like to pick a few extras that’s no problem at all.

Recommendation Scheme
Recommendations mean everything to me and are worth their weight in gold. So, if you recommend me to a friend and they make a booking, you’ll receive a 20% commission on their first session. That’s £18 for every One Hour Session and £36 for every Two Hour Session with a new client that you’ve recommended. Or you can opt to pass the commission on so that the friend you’ve recommended gets the discount on their shoot instead.

Although students are not eligible for the Recommendation Scheme, there’s a 20% discount available to all students across the board. One Hour Sessions are available at £72 and Two Hour Sessions are available at £144. Additional edits are also discounted to £12/edit.

Preparation is everything and you want to be sure that on the day we shoot you get the best from our time together. So it’s always best to arrive well rested, hydrated and ready to look your best.

You can bring as many outfits as you like – I love options – but I hate creases, so please ensure everything is well ironed! It really does make a huge difference. My advice is to bring the clothes that you love to wear – pieces that tell the world who you are and that you feel really comfortable in. There’s a spacious changing room with a dressing table for hair and make up.

Headshot and portrait sessions are relaxed and informal so don’t worry if we run slightly over on time. I want you to leave the studio confident that you have everything you need. Soon after your headshot session I’ll send you a full set of digital contact sheets so you can make you final choices before I work on the edits.

My fully equipped and spacious studio is in London, just 15 minutes from the O2 Arena on the River Thames with bags of free parking.

Safety comes first on every shoot and every precaution has been put in place to keep you safe in the studio, including:

Surfaces, equipment and props that you will come into contact with are disinfected prior to your shoot.

Social distancing is maintained throughout your shoot.

I’ll be wearing a face mask while you are in the studio.

We’ll both take a temperature test on your arrival prior to the session.

You’ll be asked to sign a Covid Waiver Form prior to the session.
